1270 was the first fragrance in our collection, created as a tribute to the Frapin family’s roots in Charente since 1270 and the Folle Blanche grape once used in cognac. ‘Folle’ means mad—fitting for a scent this delicious. A golden blend of pineapple, candied orange, prunes, raisins, hazelnuts, cocoa and coffee, 1270 evokes the deep, gourmand complexity of aged cognac. Hints of vine blossom, lime flower, white honey, smoky vanilla, and Havana tobacco add elegance and warmth. Reimagined by perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur, this fragrance is a sumptuous distillation of taste and memory—like a vintage spirit for the skin.
