Born from Sophie Bruneau's passion for base notes, AFFINESSENCE luxury perfumes are particularly envelopping, warm and sensual. They were exclusively composed with base notes, that are the most complex and most precious natural raw materials of perfumery. Thanks to their heavy molecular weight, they are the most intense and long-lasting scents that exist.

The Base Notes collection consists of unique associations of deep, original and intense notes. These luxurious Eau de Parfum are true "sensual signatures", that are both comforting and voluptuous.

The amber accord is essentially made up of vanillin, the main molecule of vanilla, and resins such as labdanum, benzoin or myrrh. It is a warm and sensual accord, which combines perfectly with spicy, animal and woody notes.

A perfume is called animalic when it is characterized by notes coming from raw materials of animal origin such as civet, castoreum, ambergris, or tonkin musk. As well as raw materials of plant or synthetic origin such as certain white musks, oud or costus that also have facets giving a furry, bestial side to compositions. These animalic notes are usually found in amber or oriental perfumes.

Founded by David Benedek, BDK Parfums is an independent perfume house located in the Palais Royal district, in Paris. The house proposes qualitative and distinctive fragrances, inspired by characters, movements, silhouettes, and moments. These creations all have in common a universe centered on words and tales, halfway between fantasy and reality. No preconceived formulas in this house - we are in the presence of conscientious artisan work, enabling the creation of exceptional fragrances.

The house of BDK Parfums is in perpetual search of the most flawless raw materials to offer an incomparable final product. This is why all the perfume concentrates are formed in the region of Grasse, in France.

The bottle cap, developed in Paris by a master goldsmith, was shaped after the dome of the Grand Palais in Paris. The perfume bottle, with its angled edges, is made by a master glassblower based in Normandy. Re-burnt after being fabricated, it holds a unique transparency and brilliance, which enables it to enhance the color of the fragrance it contains.
