Tuberose
Originally from Mexico, nowadays cultivated mainly in India and Grasse, tuberose is a white flower with honeysuckle, green, earthy, creamy and slightly medicinal facets. Very heady, it can be found in soliflores or mixed with other white flowers in floral or oriental perfumes.
In the 16th century in Italy, young people were forbidden to walk in tuberose gardens in the evening, for fear that the scent of these flowers would arouse their desire.
