Founded in Paris in 1775, Houbigant is one of the world’s oldest perfume houses — and the only one to have spanned four centuries of history. From French nobility to Napoleon Bonaparte, it was the official perfumer of Europe’s royal courts.

But heritage means little without vision. Houbigant revolutionized perfumery by creating the first modern “fougère” with Fougère Royale, and by composing Quelques Fleurs, the first abstract floral bouquet in fragrance history. Both are now iconic creations and global benchmarks.
