Souchong Journey is inspired by Lapsang Souchong, a smoky black tea from the Wuyi Mountains in China. It retraces the intercontinental journey of black tea and transforms it into a woody, smoky olfactory liqueur — elegant and timeless.
Lapsang Souchong owes its distinctive scent to an ancestral drying method: the tea leaves are smoked over pine or cypress wood fires, which infuse them with deep, resinous aromas. According to legend, this technique emerged in the 17th century, improvised by tea producers during a military occupation.
This fragrance unfolds in three movements: a bright citrus opening, a spicy heart evoking the great tea and spice markets, and a warm, enveloping base — a tribute to the smoky soul of Lapsang.
